Job Description Process Quality Technician I - Day Shift Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00+ DOE + $0.50/hr wage increase eligible after 90 days Employer subsidized on-site medical clinic Paid Break and Lunch The Process Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the quality group & the teams in the production environment along with using troubleshooting techniques to solve PQ related issues.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Required to perform Print, Bindery, Packaging, & Mailroom audits and inspections as outlined in training materials. 15% Inspect problem runs, perform equipment quality tests, such as motion quality, signal strength, and MICR sampling. 10% Evaluate and count spoilage. 10% Support production teams on quality questions. 10% Produce and process samples for QCS. 10% Conduct research and root cause analysis. 10% Attend daily Team Business Meetings (huddles) as the quality resource. 10% Other duties as assigned. 5% Research and identify late work. 10% Run ready to sort reports. 10% EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE UTILIZED Computer, keyboard, and mouse Experience using MS Office Qualifications KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Must have good typing skills Experience with Vericast processes and procedures Willingness to train with desire to increase knowledge of quality duties Strong technical and computer knowledge Attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information COMMUNICATION &CONTACTS Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Must be able to effectively communicate with QCS, Account Managers, and Priority One Managers Frequently interacts with employees on work team by sharing information both out on the floor and in Team Business Meetings.
