Job Summary The role of a process engineer is to transform raw materials into valuable everyday products. They are responsible for designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing industrial processes and machinery in the manufacturing industry.
Researching, designing and developing new equipment Developing, configuring and optimizing end-to-end industrial processes, from ideation to certification Managing cost and time constraints Ensuring compliance with both internal and external protocols and regulations Running risk assessments of the equipment and processes being used Collecting data, writing reports, and presenting findings to senior management Skills Required Process OSBL / Utilities lead experience preferred Process front end Polymers design or lead experience preferred Process front end refining design or lead experience preferred 5 + years' experience in related industries (5 - 25 years acceptable) Demonstrated leadership of process design on capital projects, including responsibility for budget, schedule, and change management is required. Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
