Responsibilities
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes• Develop and implement assembly procedures• Test and manufacture products• Provide corrective actions for process improvement• Analyze process flows for quality enhancement and cost reduction• Work with vendors to determine product specifications• Estimate staffing requirements and production times• Provide technical training for employees• Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements and new products• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Requirements
• Automotive experience including RSW, GMAW, Riveting, Lean Manufacturing• Develop, evaluate, and document manufacturing processes• Improve efficiency through lean manufacturing• Analyze data and identify root causes of defects• Implement process control techniques and procedures• Analyze manufacturing process flows for quality enhancement and cost reduction• Confer with vendors to determine product specifications• Estimate staffing requirements, production times, and costs• Coordinate technical training for employees• Design and develop manufacturing processes and tooling
