Part-Time or PRN OT Home Health / Occupational Therapist Are you a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist looking for an immediate opportunity in the healthcare industry? Job Summary: Assume responsibility for the ongoing assessment and development of individualized care plans. Provide ordered occupational therapy services and patient education. Evaluate functional status and home environment for hazards or barriers to independent living. Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved function. Maintain appropriate clinical records and reports. Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs. Identify patient and family needs for additional home health services and make appropriate referrals. Instruct and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Job Requirements: Must be licensed in the location where the Home Health Agency (HHA) is located. Graduated from an OT program accredited by ACOTE of AOTA. Eligible for or have taken the OT certification examination administered by NBCOT. Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. Possess and maintain current CPR Certification. Must be a licensed driver with a reliable insured automobile.
