Print Technician (Flexographic)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Print Technician conducts demonstrations, press acceptances, print tests, and conducts print training classes on Mark Andy products. They also consult with customers on applications of company products in the industry.  
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct product demonstrations for customers on all company products. Conduct print training classes for customers, employees, and vendors. Troubleshoot printing and application related problems in this field. Conduct print tests for customers and Mark Andy engineering. Consults will customers, engineering and manufacturing on print related issues. 90% travel may be required. Assist team in validating new designs and field fixes. Assist in the running of trade show events. Assist new product development in validating new products. Develop new processes and procedures to continually improve the Customer Experience. Always represents Mark Andy professionally when meeting with customers. Other duties as assigned.  REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Demonstrates ability to produce high quality products with Mark Andy equipment. High level of technical knowledge in narrow web flexographic print applications.  Excellent communication and customer service skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED 7 to 10 years of experience in the flexographic printing industry. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and move about facilities. Work typically requires the use of PPE. Work is regularly performed on the production floor. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. OTHER DUTIES:
