The role ensures resource estimation risks, both opportunities and threats, are identified and managed.To undertake Mineral Resource and Grade Control modelling and estimation, collaborate and assist with operational and other geological projects including development of reconciliation processes and associated reporting.About YouAs a Principle Resource Geologist, you will have a Bachelors Degree or MSc in Geoscience with preference for postgraduate studies in Geostatistics.It is also important that you possess:Demonstrated relevant experience with at least proven experience in a senior resource estimation roleMust have broad experience in production geology, mineral resource estimation for long and short term mine planning, grade control practices, underground ore control across a range of gold deposit typesPreference for experience in advanced-stage exploration projects and geoscience contribution to major capital project developmentMust have demonstrated stakeholder engagement and leadership skillsMust have demonstrated training, coaching and mentoring experiencePrevious experience in the development of Mineral Resource reporting systems and processes and a good understanding of JORC codePrevious experience leading resource geologists in a similar mining operationPreference for demonstrated ability to drive excellence and support collaboration across multiple sitesWe thank you for taking the time to submit your application.
