Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing, leading and maintaining the cost control (management and change control), progress measurement and project analysis with consistent and accurate reporting on all project activities.The tasks you'll performProvide leadership to the cost control function within the Lycopodium Minerals Perth (and subsidiaries) business.Establish best in class project controls framework, procedures and work methods, integrating the Studies, Engineering, Project Management, Cost Control and Construction functions.Deliver consistent, accurate reporting and analytical tools for study delivery, project delivery and Lycopodium Minerals Leadership team requirements.Act as the SME, providing specialist project controls advice with respect to cost management, change management and control, forecasting, reporting, performance assessment and data analytics.Monitor Project trends, risks and evaluate performance of Projects by performing peer review of Project Controls teams reporting.Co-ordinate and promote the delivery of the monthly forecast process. Challenging project teams to ensure robust and consistent forecasts are maintained throughout the delivery of all Projects.Plan, recruit, assign and mentor the project controls team to ensure the requisite skills are achieved by all team members.Contribute to the Cost Control team members training and professional development by providing consistent mentoring and identify avenues of development.Promote continual improvement initiatives withing the Cost Control team and broader Lycopodium Minerals business.The expertise you'll bring10+ years' in a similar role with relevant industry experience (mineral processing experience highly regarded).Undergraduate qualification in Engineering or Accounting/Commerce.Thorough and extensive knowledge of Project control principles, theories, concepts, tools and reporting.Exceptional ability to multitask and work at pace in a complex and challenging EPCM sector.Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams in high-pressure Project environments.Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development and succession planning for personnel within your business unit.Capacity to evaluate work practices, implement systems and suggest alternatives and refinements where necessary.A focus on creating, fostering and managing people relationships for diverse, high performance teams.Ability to create a positive stakeholder management and customer support environment.The benefits we'll provideLycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
