We are looking for a product leader who can think broadly and strategically to define, own and drive the product roadmap, create market fit products and grow product market share for Axon Signal product. You'll be a key player in one of our fastest growing products with responsibility for developing products that extend globally and bring value to our customers. You are expected to closely collaborate and partner with the rest of Axon successful products such as Axon Body, Axon Taser, Axon Evidence and more. You will be collaborating with a talented and expanding team of engineers and designers to lead our next-generation Signal products. As a principal product manager, you will own products from start to finish and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and meet all the required quality standards expected by our customers to their delight.

What You’ll Do

Location:Remotely from United StatesOROnsite at our Seattle, WA office

Leverage market data, trends, and customer insights to formulate business plans for new products/market segments globally. Consistently deliver innovative product solutions that delight users and drive buyer conversion and user adoption.
Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and convert those insights into product enhancements.
Proactively collaborate with engineering to make the right trade-offs for technology solutions to complex problems. Recognize how architecture will influence cross-product systems. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams and ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.
Write detailed product vision and specifications, ensure that the final product/ feature meets the requirements and delivers optimal user experience.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, marketing, and technical support, to ensure product success and customer satisfaction.
Effectively communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs and opportunities to stakeholders, including senior management, customers and external partners.

What You Bring

10+ years of product or program management on medium to large products.
Bachelor's degree in fields of computer science, electrical engineering or related fields.
Excellent understanding of the business of building products and monetization strategies to drive product growth and adoption.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and articulate product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including C-suite executives.
Effective in contributing to technical discussions, influencing technology decisions and strategies pertaining to product development.
Demonstrated passion for prioritizing customer needs, making critical trade-offs between team capacity and customer demands.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Experience in collaborating with international customer and coordinating with global teams as well as external partners and vendors.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for short periods of time.

Preferred Experience

Masters in fields of computer science, electrical engineering or related fields.
Experience with hardware and device development product management.
Experience with Internet of Things, Sensors and Connectivity systems and products.

Pay Transparency

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 120,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 230,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 210,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 390,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
