The Product Manager role is focused on the Financial Close software that we offer, specifically for the business processes of account reconciliation, journal entry management, consolidation, and overall financial close management.
The ideal candidate should have a customer centric attitude with a good balance of technical and business acumen in order to easily translate market requirements into software features.
Must have knowledge and skills for this position are:
1. Good understanding of financial close process overall, including understanding of finance and accounting terminology and concepts
2. Minimum 10 years experience as product management/consultant/business analyst or similar role
3. Working knowledge of SaaS delivered enterprise software
4. Analytical and problem solving skills
5. Excellent attention to detail and self-motivated attitude
6. Effective communication skills – both oral and written
7. Ability to collaborate in a team environment
8. Degree in Engineering or Finance, or background in accounting and technology
Desirable knowledge and skills for this position are:
1. Business and/or technical knowledge of Hyperion EPM and/or Cloud EPM
2. Experience in agile/scrum environment and user story / software requirements creation

Responsibilities The role will gather feedback from customers, Oracle implementation partners, sales, support, market analysts, and peers in order to stay informed on market trends and requirements. With this information, the role will assist with setting product priorities and roadmap, and new feature requirements documentation (user stories) and design. Over time, the Product Manager is expected to become a subject matter expert and, as such, will be responsible for educating customers and Oracle implementation partners on process best practices and software features, as well as educating internal teams on the value of the software to our customers. At times, the Product Manager role may also assist with sales support when new customers are evaluating a subscription to the software.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
