The nIQ Data & AI team is in search of an experienced Principal Product Data Analyst to lead the development of our benchmarks and analytics product initiatives in the nCino Bank Operating System. This key role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders across our company to elevate our analytical solutions through the strategic use of data from Salesforce, relational databases, and external data sources. Your mission will be to transform these varied and rich data sets into cohesive and powerful benchmarking analytics and actionable insights for our customers.

As the analytical maestro, you will directly engage with customers to determine the highest value insights to bring into the product, work with the product team to develop and socialize a roadmap for analytics opportunities and lead the charge in executing these plans to fruition. Your expertise will be the cornerstone for driving data-driven decision-making, enhancing the availability and reliability of actionable intelligence, and fostering a culture of innovation and learning within our customer-facing products.

Responsibilities:

Data Synthesis and Analysis:
Synthesize data from Salesforce, relational databases, and external data sources to deliver sophisticated benchmarking analytics.
Leverage statistical methods and algorithmic analysis to parse through significant data volumes, distill insights, and contribute to the creation of forecasting models and sophisticated analytics.
Develop reporting capabilities and perform data analysis across multiple systems to provide business intelligence related to internal processes or customer analytics.

Strategic Development and Coordination:
Work closely with product teams to create a roadmap for benchmarking analytics opportunities, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
Coordinate with stakeholders across the company to aggregate, analyze, and maintain key datasets.
Review tools, data sources, validation techniques, and visualization, identify any areas for enhancement and lead development of changes.
Work with Data and AI engineering teams to deliver benchmarks and analytics into the nCino product, focusing on user experience and the delivery of key insights.

Communication and Deployment:
Present insights and trends from nCino's customer base to various stakeholders, utilizing visualization tools to influence business decisions and establish best practices.
Lead ongoing initiatives to enhance the availability, accuracy, reliability, and self-service capabilities of analytics, ensuring continuous improvement.

Training and Leadership:
Facilitate appropriate training and/or documentation for new processes and tools to promote knowledge sharing and efficient adoption across the organization.
Coach and mentor other engineers within the Data & AI organization, serving as a role model and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Requirements:

Required:
Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 6 years of combined consulting, analytics, project management, systems implementation, or operations experience or combination experience, education & superior performance
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a concise manner to a variety of audiences
Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
Strong experience working with and analyzing data (e.g., advanced Excel, BI Analytics, SQL, etc.)
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI and the like
Ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks, projects, and workload
Expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python or R and SQL, with an ability to write efficient and optimized code.

Desired:
6+ months experience developing, supporting, or implementing the nCino platform
Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques, including predictive modeling, segmentation, and optimization algorithms.
Proven experience in statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.
Python experience
High level understanding of each nCino solution and the core problems they solve for our customers
Experience building software products.
