Primary Care Physician

Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Physicians are encouraged to consider a consulting opportunity with Liberty Healthcare Corporation. Liberty Healthcare Corporation is a physician-owned organization with three decades of public health experience. We are a Joint Commission Certified organization that is certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a Quality Improvement Organization (QIO)-like entity.
To ensure our clients and persons-served receive high quality healthcare services, Liberty Healthcare Corporation maintains a panel of physician subject matter experts who are called upon occasionally to conduct quality of care reviews of patient records and other medical documents.
As a consultant to Liberty Healthcare Corporation, you would apply your Primary Care subject matter expertise as requested by Liberty Healthcare. You may accomplish this work remotely from your professional office or home – on dates and at times convenient to you.
You would work on an as needed basis, in an estimated range of zero to ten hours quarterly.
Please note, this is a non-direct care role, which does not involve patient care.
Panel physician specialists can expect an annual retainer form Liberty Healthcare Corporation as well as payment for each hour of consulting services provided. Hourly compensation rates are negotiable and will be consistent with your usual hourly billing rate.
To qualify for this consulting role, you must have an active Indiana medical license and also be board certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Prior peer review or quality assurance experience is helpful, but not required.
