As a Pricing Analyst, you will be an integral part of our pricing department, responsible for analyzing market data, updating pricing information, and maintaining accuracy in our POS (Point of Sale) computer system. This role requires solid Excel skills, as well as proficiency in website navigation to gather pricing information. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount for success in this position.
What you'll do as the Pricing Specialist : Utilize Excel to analyze pricing data, track market trends, and develop pricing models Navigate websites to gather pricing information from competitors and industry sources Update pricing information in Excel spreadsheets and our POS computer system Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure the integrity of pricing data Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate pricing updates and changes Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies to optimize profitability Perform regular audits to ensure pricing accuracy and identify discrepancies Provide support for ad-hoc pricing analysis and projects as needed What you will bring to the role as a Pricing Specialist : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including advanced functions and formulas Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis Ability to navigate websites effectively to gather pricing information Previous experience in a pricing role or similar analytical position is preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders Take the first step on your new career path!
