In this role,you willplay a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial success by leading the development and implementation of data-driven pricing strategies. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including product, sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure our pricing aligns with businessobjectivesand customer needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement pricing strategies to maximize the company's sales and market penetration and ensure long-term profitability objectives are metProvide a comprehensive view of the company's competitive pricing position and insight on the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth ratesConduct market research and competitor analysis to understand pricing trends and opportunitiesAnalyze customer data and usage patterns to identify optimal pricing models and segmentsDesign and implement a flexible pricing structure that maximizes revenue growth, profitability, and customer lifetime valueLead A/B testing and other pricing experiments to measure the impact of pricing changesFoster a data-driven culture within the pricing teamOversee the development and implementation of pricing tools and processesPartner with product and marketing teams to ensure pricing aligns with product roadmap and go-to-market strategyWork closely with the sales team to provide support on complex deals and negotiationsCollaborate with finance to ensure pricing decisions align with financial goals and budget constraintsContinuously monitor market dynamics and competitor pricing strategiesResearch and implement best practices in SaaS pricingIdentify new monetization opportunities and develop business cases for potential implementationProactively contribute to Tekion's Value proposition including thought leadership, speaking at professional conferences, etc.Skills and Experience8+ years of work experience, including 4+ in product marketing and pricing rolesAdvanced problem solving and analytical skills, including expertise in ExcelExceptional attention to detail and ability to understand and articulate the "big picture"Ability to gather intelligence from data, present findings and decisions, influence executive stakeholders, and execute independently on initiativesAbility to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authorityProficiency with CPQ and CRM (preferably Salesforce), able to navigate and extract dataProficiency with BI and Data Warehouse toolsMBA or advanced degree in finance, economics or related field strongly preferredPosition can be remote, Central US preferredPreferred SkillsExperience with pricing software and toolsFamiliarity with SaaS financial metrics and modelingPerks and BenefitsCompetitive compensation and generous stock options??100% employer-paid top-of-the-line medical, dental and vision coverage?Great benefits including unlimited PTO, parental leaveThe opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley's most dominant and?successful companies??Be part of an early stage, hyper-growth start-up with the opportunity to grow and prosper???Work on the latest and coolest technologies – everything is home-grown and built ground-up??A dynamic work environment with a strong sense of community and collaboration??The open and transparent culture that encourages innovation, rewards performance and discourages hierarchy??Exciting opportunities for career growth and development??The salary range for this position is $139,000 - $188,000.The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this positionacross applicable US locations.This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance.The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation. Current Tekion Employees – Please apply via Greenhouse Internal Job Board
