Preschool Lead Teacher

As a Lead Teacher your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Planning and leading daily group and individual activities that are developmentally appropriate to meet the needs and interest of the children using the assigned curriculum. Creating and following a daily schedule that reflects and meets group and individual routines of the children. Leading activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling. Interacting with each child on a daily basis through circle time, centers, snacks, lunchtime, playground, free play, etc. We provide a generous benefits plan , including health insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, a matching 403(b) plan, holiday pay , a Mental Health Day (annually), and, after the first year of employment, accrued paid vacation time , etc. You will be working in a great team environment, with a positive work culture. In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.
Skills/Requirements Must be at least 18 years old and possess an Associate's Degree or above in Early Childhood Education or related field, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must have at least three (3) years teaching experience in a licensed childcare center. Must possess an active child care staff credential (CDA). Must have a CPR and First Aid Certification or must obtain certification upon hire. Must possess a caring and nurturing attitude towards children and excellent customer service skills.
