Preconstruction Manager

We're seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager to join our team at a well-established client in the construction industry!

Our client is a leader in the construction industry. and is searching for a proactive professional to lead the preconstruction phase of their projects. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring project feasibility, developing accurate budgets and schedules, and setting the stage for successful construction.

Responsibilities:

Manage the preconstruction process for assigned projects, from initial feasibility studies to bid packaging.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure project designs meet budget, schedule, and constructability requirements.

Develop detailed cost estimates and create comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software.

Assist in the selection and qualification of subcontractors and suppliers.

Prepare and manage bid packages for subcontractors and vendors.

Conduct constructability reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.

Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the preconstruction phase.

Prepare clear and concise preconstruction documents for project stakeholders.

Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure project alignment.

Identify and manage project risks proactively.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 5 years of experience in preconstruction management.

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with cost estimating and scheduling software.

Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
