As a Preconstruction Director, you will play a crucial role in the initial phases of project development, focusing on healthcare and senior living projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the preconstruction process, leading a team of Estimators, and ensuring accurate conceptual estimating.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the preconstruction phase of healthcare and senior living projects. Conduct conceptual estimating and budgeting for prospective projects. Collaborate with the business development team to provide accurate and competitive bids. Supervise and mentor a team of Estimators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Interface with clients, architects, and subcontractors to understand project requirements. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to develop comprehensive project cost estimates. Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and construction methodologies. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in preconstruction, with a focus on healthcare and senior living projects. Proven experience in conceptual estimating and budgeting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
