Job Description:
Staples is seeking a talented and enthusiastic PR Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will allow you to work remotely from Jacksonville, Florida, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. As an Entry Level PR Associate, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of public relations while working for a leading company in the industry.
Responsibilities:- Assist in developing and implementing PR campaigns to promote Staples products and services- Cultivate relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure press coverage for the company- Write press releases, pitch letters, and other PR materials- Monitor media coverage and report on PR campaign results- Assist in planning and executing events and other PR initiatives- Conduct research to identify key trends and opportunities in the market- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR strategies are aligned with overall business goals
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field- 1 year of experience in public relations or a related field- Adaptability and confidence to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment- Strong strategic planning and research skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PR software tools- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
