Job Description:
As a PR Associate at CDW in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, you will be responsible for supporting the public relations team in executing strategic communication initiatives and campaigns. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:1. Assist in developing and executing public relations strategies and campaigns.2. Create and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.3. Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics.4. Assist in organizing and coordinating press events, media interviews, and other PR activities.5. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.6. Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams on integrated campaigns.7. Manage social media accounts and engage with followers.8. Assist in crisis communications and reputation management when necessary.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.3. Resilient and reliable with the ability to work well under pressure.4. Leadership and planning skills.5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.7. Experience with PR software and tools is a plus.
