GPAC is partnered with a successful Manufacturing company looking for a Powder Coat Painter. Essential Functions of the Job Load and unload parts or product onto paint fixtures or carts Prepare material for paint by use of a variety of methods including shot blasting, sanding, and 5 stage washing Mask or plug threaded holes or machined surfaces as required Apply powder following standard operating procedures Set the cure oven parameters following standard operating procedures Perform scheduled checks on the wash system to ensure proper chemistry Perform the proper cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA's) Experienced in the methods and techniques related to safe use, storage and disposal of powder paint, chemicals, and safe cleanup techniques Demonstrate ability to work independently or in a group with minimal daily supervision and meet expectations Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language Must be physically fit to wear PAPR equipment Able to use a floor-mounted man lift required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED A minimum of two (2) years of powder coat painting experience preferred and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience Apply to be considered for the opportunity or reach out to All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
