Essential Job Duties: The duties and responsibilities include developing new moral situations about potentially harmful decisions involving social robots, including Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) patients and family caregivers, conducting interviews with stakeholders and testing moral judgment on samples of students, professional moral philosophers, and lay people. Funding is expected to be awarded in Spring 2024.
Other Work/Responsibilities: The successful candidate will also pursue their own individual research agenda and be guided by Dr. Dubljevic. A research presentation given once a year will summarize progress in this arena and should result in one or more publications.
Work Schedule: Workdays, 9am until 5pm
Department Required Skills: The ability to carry out an original research agenda in applied ethics. Strong commitment to excellence in research is expected. Excellent communication skills.
