Responsibilities
• Use machine learning and computational methods to analyze electronic health record data• Derive and validate clinical decision support tools for the electronic health record• Lead manuscripts, present at conferences, and participate in collaborations• Contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, time series data analysis, and clinical informatics
Requirements
• PhD degree in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, biomedical informatics, information science, computational linguistics, or a closely related field• Experience in Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning• Experience in healthcare research is encouraged• Additional experience in natural language processing and machine learning is encouraged• Strong programming experience (e.g., Python, Java, R)• Strong written and oral communication skills required• Ability to work independently and as a team player• Proficiency with Git for project management
