Plumber

Inspect and test all plumbing fixtures, water, and sewer. Perform preventive maintenance per preventive maintenance schedules. Record the results of inspection and tests on proper forms. Design, install, and repair all hospital water lines, sewer lines, valves, and a variety of plumbing fixtures. Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures such as: toilets, sinks, faucets, drinking fountains, water heaters, various pipe work, and other plumbing related items. Repair and maintenance to be performed in a timely manner. Notify supervisor of any abnormal plumbing problems Assesses advanced problems and recommends action to be taken. Repair and assist in installation of hospital medical gas system. Work with supervisor and hospital consultants on installation of medical gas system Maintain required testing and inspections on medical gas system and record results on proper forms. Make any required medical gas system line repairs within in a timely manner. Assesses advanced problems and recommends action to be taken. Design, install, and repair all hospital Hydronic systems. Work with supervisor and hospital consultants on installation of HVAC systems. Maintain required testing and inspections on HVAC system and record results on proper forms. Make any required HVAC repairs within a timely manner. Assesses advanced problems and recommends action to be taken. Tools and Equipment. Maintain all plumbing tools and supplies used in Hospital. Keep tools and supplies stored and put away when not in use. Take routine Plant Operations On-Call Carry on-call phone per schedule. Respond to calls within 20 minutes. Able to handle all emergencies or notify someone for assistance. Performs additional duties as assigned. Perform any additional task as directed. Record results of task on Work Order Form.
