As an integral part of the team, the Operations Manager will play a crucial role in providing both tactical and strategic leadership to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the flagship facility.
Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing production metrics, implementing corrective actions, and identifying areas for improvement. This dynamic role involves leading, motivating, and holding a diverse team accountable, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with the EHS manager, you will conduct safety audits, drills, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in manufacturing plant management (5+ years), wood industry experience is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of wood processing, pelletizing equipment, or related technology is beneficial.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a talent for building and motivating high-performance teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, production schedules, and operational processes.
Detailed understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
