This position combines maintenance, welding, and conveyor belt repair responsibilities to support the quarry's operations.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and welding repairs on fixed machinery and equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry equipment.Utilize welding skills to repair and fabricate metal components as needed.Repair and maintain conveyor belts, including splicing and replacing damaged sections to ensure uninterrupted material handling.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.Maintain accurate records of maintenance, welding, and conveyor belt repair activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventory.Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and quarry personnel to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures.Participate in training programs to stay current with maintenance, welding, and conveyor belt repair techniques and equipment advancements.Assist in procuring spare parts and materials necessary for maintenance, welding, and conveyor belt repair tasks.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in industrial maintenance, welding, and conveyor belt repair, preferably in a quarry or mining environment.Welding certification and proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick).Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.Preferred Qualifications:Technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields.Familiarity with quarry equipment and processes.What You'll Like About Us :Great Company Culture.
