Responsibilities
• Lead/manage production of presentation materials, technical reports, and letters• Develop/lead community engagement activities• Develop/lead data collection and analysis• Manage project budgets• Develop strategies for economic and community development• Work with internal/external teams and organizations• Interpret/apply applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations• Assist with proposal preparation and fee estimates• Supervise junior staff• Represent organization at networking events, conferences, and public meetings
Requirements
• Master's degree in urban or regional planning or related field• 3+ years of planning experience• 5+ years of experience for Senior Planner• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification• Knowledge of planning methodology, principles, and practices• Familiar with municipal planning/zoning administrator activities• Knowledge of development processes and real estate finance preferred• Proficient with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu
