Responsibilities
• Provide high quality medical care for patients needing internal medicine specialist care• Share in equitable distribution of work between all Post-Acute Care providers• Collaborate with other providers within the Post-Acute Care division• Maintain familiarity with the St. Charles organization structure, communication systems, and billing process• Obtain medical knowledge and current skills through regular continuing medical education• Practice and role model excellence in the Internal Medicine domains• Document all patient care in a timely manner• Participate in quality efforts in partnership with St. Charles hospitals or divisions• Keep all licenses and certifications current and unrestricted• Collaborate with referring providers and document all patient care within the Electronic Medical Record
Requirements
• Graduation from an accredited college or university• Graduation from an accredited medical school• Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program• Board eligibility/certification in the specialty being practiced• Current Oregon license as MD / DO• Federal DEA number registered in Oregon• Unrestricted ability to participate in Medicare / Medicaid• Valid driver's license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements• Current BLS certification required• Experience using EMR software• Advanced written and verbal communication skills• Experience working in a team environment• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Electronic Medical Record systems• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications
