At NMC Health, we're proud to set a 5-Star standard for healthcare, and your passion will go a long way as a Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Therapy Unit (OP Therapy) . As a Physical Therapist here at NMC Health , you would assume responsibility in the daily activities of therapy services. This includes the potential for evaluating and developing treatment plans and administers physical therapy treatment to patients as defined in the Kansas Physical Therapy Practice Act. A staff therapist has the responsibility for the overall direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff and students in their area of rehabilitation services. In addition, the staff therapist is involved in documenting as necessary and appropriate, while also assisting with, or actively participating in, HFAP and safety procedures for the department/organization . As of 1/21/22, NMC Health requires all employees to be vaccinated unless a medical or religious exemption is needed.
Education and experience:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or the American Physical Therapy Association and/or state certified. Minimum of two (2) years experience in outpatient therapy preferred Member of the APTA and/or Kansas Physical Therapy Association (KPTA) preferred Licensure and certifications:
