Civilian, contracted opportunity for a Physical Therapist to provide full-time, outpatient care to the U.S. military at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (U.S. Army Hospital) located in Landstuhl, Germany. Clinic hours are Mondays to Fridays, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
We will safely relocate the provider upon all Government approvals; sometime in late Spring/early Summer 2021.
Qualification requirements are:
Be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program. Advanced training and experience in vestibular rehabilitation and/or certification in vestibular rehabilitation from the American Physical Therapy Association is required. Diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of balance disorders. Be currently licensed and unrestricted in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine with the applicable MTF Credentials Committee. Have a minimum of two (2) years experience in physical therapy rehabilitation. Experience and training emphasis in manual therapy, orthopedic, geriatric, neurological and acute inpatient care is required. Possess and maintain current course completion documentation for basic cardiac life support (BCLS) through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program. The Physical Therapist is responsible for maintaining these certifications in a current status at all times while performing services under this contract.
