Responsibilities
• Establish the strategic direction of the residency program• Maintain the standards, quality, and reputation of the program• Develop and implement an effective educational curriculum• Oversee didactic and clinical education• Manage external training and educational experiences• Select and manage program faculty• Lead program candidate recruitment and selection• Ensure compliance with requirements and expectations• Develop and maintain policies and procedures• Evaluate residents and faculty, assess technical competence
Requirements
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree• Board certified in PM&R• Extensive experience in clinical or professional practice• Experience in working with and/or directing others• Preferred: At least three years of specialty expertise• Preferred: At least three years of educational and/or administrative experience• Preferred: Documented scholarly activity/participation
