Shift technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues. They are also required to assist with equipment installs, engineering tests, build and modify equipment procedures, increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and deeply document all maintenance.Qualifications:Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including: fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuitsA strong mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and solve mechanical systems.Vacuum system knowledge and an ability to fix vacuum systems are desired.You will use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to components level.Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPointProven ability to fix basic problems and address root causesSolid time management and prioritization skillsConfirmed ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace environmentBasic data extraction, analysis and reporting skillsProven ability to work effectively with minimal supervisionThe ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilitiesSuccessfully proven teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamicsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as neededEducation:Required: AAS in Electronics, Mechatronics and/or equivalent military experiencePreferred: Semiconductor company technician 0-3 years experienceAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
