As our phlebotomist, you will instruct on sample collection procedures and perform blood and urine collections using standard collection methods.
Additional duties include: Perform venipuncture, collect blood, and provide appropriate post-care of phlebotomy site Prepare various specimens for analysis while maintaining positive patient identification Perform specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner Follow strict patient identification policies, including verification of specimen labels applied to patient samples Employ standard precautions, infection control, and proper isolation techniques Local travel is required Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy or medical assisting program required Valid driver's license Minimum one year of phlebotomy, specimen handling, central processing, or medical assisting is required.
