Job Summary: The UK College of Medicine seeks a Philanthropic Initiatives Coordinator to join our growing team. This position will report to the Senior Director and serve as an essential liaison between our team and our internal department, our budget officers, and our College of Medicine departments. Daily activities will include financial reconciliation, project management, event support, and marketing/communications activation. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a willingness to manage multiple different types of projects at once, be a consummate team player, and care about the mission of advancing academic healthcare in Kentucky.
Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: Multi-tasking, attention to detail, trustworthy, can maintain confidential information, abilityto manage very complex schedules; make good decisions based on meeting times andlocations. Proficient in Excel with a working knowledge of social media is preferred.

Required License/Registration/Certification : None
Preferred Education/Experience: 3 years' experience in community relations, fundraising, marketing or public relations.
