Join our team as a Clinical Research Services Technician, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our clinical research endeavors under the guidance of a registered pharmacist. Responsibilities:
Review incoming orders meticulously, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Create comprehensive patient profiles from scanned or faxed images, ensuring accurate entry of patient and provider details for efficient processing.
Conduct initial order checks for clinical accuracy, particularly if certified as a pharmacy technician.
Maintain proactive communication with providers regarding order status, clarification needs, missing information, or patient concerns, ensuring all necessary data is collected before further processing.
Keep concise progress notes updated to facilitate smooth workflow transitions for all team members.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to order shipping and ensuring their satisfaction.
Efficiently direct incoming calls from patients and providers to appropriate channels for timely order processing.
Perform any additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Job Requirements:
Fulfill or surpass current Continuing Education (CE) requirements as mandated by the Board of Pharmacy Laws.
Cultivate a mindset of continuous learning, actively pursuing self-education within the realm of Clinical Research Center operations.
Hold registration as a technician through the TX Board of Pharmacy.
Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills.
Possess a High School Diploma as a minimum educational requirement.
Healthcare experience is desirable.
Exhibit above-average attention to detail, adeptness in navigating multiple computer systems, effective communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to excel within a small team environment.
