Hello! I'm Carleen, the owner of Barks to Meows Pet Sitting LLC. We are looking for an additional member of our pawsome pet sitting team. This is a part-time position with various days Monday through Friday and some weekends from approximately 11:00AM to 5:00PM. Visit times will vary.
Some of our current team members include:
Stay at home moms, College students, work from home people, and retirees that just want to go do something.
Here is what we ask you to do:
Between the hours of 11am -5pm you will be asked to perform drop-in visits and go on dog walks. You will also be responsible for following any feed instructions, rinsing and refilling water bowls, making sure the pet is safe, giving lots of love and praise. We require everything to be communicated by phone; text, call, or business app.
:-) Did I mention this job requires you to play with dogs and cats? For many of our staff, they say it is the best job ever!
Some basic job requirements:
Able to pass a background check
Local full-time resident of Ohio
Able to receive regular paychecks/ bank deposits
Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
DESCRIPTION:
This is a pet sitting/ dog walking job which requires you to go into our client's homes and perform any of the following tasks:
Dog walking and/or dog/cat/small animal feeding, watering, waste removal, administering medications, provide love and attention to the pets, among other client requests such as bringing in the mail, newspaper and watering plants.
An employee of Barks to Meows Pet Sitting must: Have a genuine love of animals, a valid driver's license, a reliable insured vehicle, a clean background, own a smartphone to use our app, be available some holidays and weekends and commit to12 months of employment to Barks to Meows Pet Sitting.

Experience:
- Previous experience in animal handling or a related field is preferred
- Customer service skills are essential for interacting with pet owners
- Knowledge of pet sitting, veterinary care, or animal care is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary - Be able to commute and work in all types of weather. ect. heat/humidity, cold/snow/sleet, and rain.
