Personal Lines Insurance Account Assistant

High and Rubish Insurance Agency is a well-established, independent agency in Chapel Hill looking for a motivated individual to support our personal lines team with daily operations and customer service. This is a part-time position with the potential to develop into a full-time role.PRIMARY ROLE:Assisting personal lines account managers with day-to-day maintenance and servicing of assigned accounts.DUTIES (including but not limited to):Providing excellent customer service to clients by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionallyAssisting account managers in preparing and maintaining client files, organizing documentation, and gathering client informationMaintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasksBuilding relationships with customers, marketing representatives, and underwriters to help our team growKeeping up-to-date on industry trends, changes, and regulationsQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft SuiteRelevant customer service and problem-solving experienceExcellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
