See Yourself as a People Generalist As a People Generalist you will play a key role in our human resources efforts, collaborating with people leaders, the People Business Partners (PBPs) as well as the People Centers of Excellence (COEs) while providing excellent customer service and a fantastic employee experience. This role will work closely with people leaders and the PBPs to ensure that employees are performing at their best and are satisfied with their work environment. This position provides proactive insight, guidance, and support to leaders and employees through coaching and consultation, making data-driven decisions, and serving as a trusted business resource. The People Generalist is also responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as maintaining and educating employees and people leaders on HR policies and procedures. There will be both administrative and strategic responsibilities that will provide foundational support to our most important asset – our employees.
See the Primary Duties and Responsibilities Deliver on the HR Priorities: Collaborate with the PBPs to align People initiatives with overall company goals, focusing on areas such as talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational design, to drive business success and sustainable growth.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and providing recommendations when appropriate, escalating complex situations to the People Business Partners and the SVP, People Solutions as necessary. Champion the employee experience by leveraging the company culture and values to ensure equitable resolutions to employee relations issues.
Employee Performance and Engagement: Offer guidance and support to enhance employee engagement, foster team growth, improve performance, and maximize organization effectiveness. Provide first level support in addressing employee performance and development needs. Partner with Safety, Security, and Resilience (SSR) teams on outreach initiatives that have an impact on the employees. Assist with employee feedback surveys and help create strategies and actions plans in partnership with the PBPs to cultivate a culture of employee engagement based on that feedback.
Educate and Counsel: Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries on human resources related questions and address concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex concerns to a PBP or SVP, People Solutions. Educate new and emerging leaders and provide consultative advice on human resources policies and practices as well as employment compliance and regulations. Collaborate with PBPs to develop and deliver content and training to people leaders on a wide variety of topics focusing on core HR topics to improve skills and knowledge for our people leaders.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and process accurate transactions and documentation, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, to support various human resources processes including but not limited to, employee separations, exit interviews, job analysis and job descriptions as well as assisting with opening job requisitions, creating organizational charts and ad hoc reports, presentations, and communications as needed. Support the People Business Partners in gathering data and analyzing metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and help develop action plans.
Projects and Process Collaboration: Work in cross department collaboration with the People Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the People Business Partners to support and contribute to implementation of project and program deliverables as needed. Participate in the development and implementation of projects, work methods and procedures, recommend changes to improve efficiency. May design processes to enhance workflow.

Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Work Experience: 4 or more years of prior work-related experience
Additional Qualifications 4 years of experience in human resources.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
Experience in conducting internal investigations dealing with employee relations issues.
Experience in handling performance management issues throughout the employee lifecycle including termination conversations.
Excellent verbal and written services to clients, including prompt, accurate, and timely attention to detail while managing multiple priorities. Able to compose effective employee correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills. Deeply curious about problem solving, finding solutions, and challenging the status quo.
Proactively utilizing available technology and tools to support efficient and effective time management; Able to assist inquirers with information needed. Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications; Workday preferred.
Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude toward innovation and change.
Ability to build and foster strong relationships.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently / remotely and prioritize workload, but also work collaboratively and effectively with other team members and is eager to learn.
Preferred Education Level : Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field of study.
Other Qualifications, including any special skills, capabilities, and competencies : HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

The ideal candidate would be expected to be on site in either our Wayne PA, Cherry Hill NJ, or Denver CO office 2-3 times per month based on location. Work From Anywhere is subject to Radian's Alternative Work Policy and business needs. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.

In addition, based on your hire date, you will be eligible for 9 paid holidays + 2 floating holiday in support of our DEI culture.
