Pediatric Anesthesiology Faculty & Leadership Opportunities The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking candidates to become the leader of the Pediatric Anesthesiology Team. This position includes:
???? 13 weeks of time off per year Rotating weeks of day time coverage and at-home call Compensation ranging from $470,000 to $505,000 Additional compensation for serving in leadership capacity Opportunity for additional compensation with extra assignments Work in brand new Children's Hospital (opening June 2024)
Expectations for the leadership role in the Pediatric Anesthesiology Team include managing a team of 4-5 pediatric anesthesiologists, creating work and coverage schedules for the Pediatric Anesthesiology Team, assisting with the transition of operations into a new pediatric facility, and acting as liaison with pediatric and surgical specialties to ensure appropriate care to pediatric patients. Pediatric Anesthesia faculty positions are also available.
Anesthesiologists provide anesthesia care via medical direction with residents and CRNAs. Additional duties include performing classroom and/or clinical instruction to residents and medical students.
Candidates will be considered for non-tenured clinical faculty anesthesiology positions in an exceptional academic environment. Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and eligible for licensure in Missouri. Rank will be based on academic background.
