The Role: We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to help oversee Hogarth Americas' payroll operations, along with managing diverse accounting and bookkeeping tasks within the finance/payroll department. This role includes facilitating the inter-company billing process and ensuring accurate financial records.
Responsibilities: Manage weekly/biweekly, and semimonthly payroll operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness Perform daily payroll department operations, including reconciliation and validation of reports Run payroll for employees across various states, such as New York and California Maintain and manage ADP EV6 payroll system Efficiently handle payroll processes for a specified number of employees to optimize workflow Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and legal standards in different jurisdictions Review hours submitted through Maconomy (Time system portal) and prepare related reports Reconcile payroll, 401(k), and other benefits, and prepare Journal Entries on a semi-monthly basis Qualifications: 3-5 years' experience processing multi-state payroll Proven proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-lookups Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience in managing payroll for diverse workforces, including both hourly and salaried employees Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Proficient in ADP EV6 payroll system Fast learner, adaptable to new challenges, and able to multitask effectively Thrives in a collaborative team environment We welcome applicants based in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina for this position! The compensation for this position at the time of this posting is $24.00 - $43.27.
