Job Title: Payroll Manager Workday
Location of role: Northbrook IL 60062 3 days Onsite Hybrid
Salary $125K to $140K (depending on experience; DOE)
Company will do relocation for this role for the right background
Key Points and Qualifications:
5 or more years of experience ideally working in the Accounting Area with Payroll administration and Payroll WorkDay Systems.
Payroll WorkDay system and Tax Notices experience is required
Must be HandsOn managed the entire Workday payroll process people management not needed
Experience/proficiency with ADP and/or ADP to Workday transition and its payment processing partners is preferred
Handson proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience working with crossfunctional or matrixed teams is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administer payroll batches and payments through WorkDay and Ceridian
Weekly oversight review and reconciliation of payroll process including audit of nonexempt timesheets
Audit medical dental vision insurance and other benefit deductions
Collaborate with tax department to ensure appropriate tax accounts are setup with different states
Assist the accounting team with the allocation of payroll and benefit expenses
Manage tax matters including responding to tax notices
Review of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and reconciliation of filings to payroll registers
Act as primary point of contact and liaison with auditors for the annual 401(k) audit for payroll matters
