Payroll Manager Bellevue, WA (in-office role)
Our client, a leading private real estate lender with a robust lending team and over $350 million in capital is seeking a Payroll Manager. This company focuses on lending to builders and developers, and they also have a mortgage brokerage and development division.
With one of the top-performing funds in the U.S. and $100M in real estate acquisitions over the past four years, they are growing organically and by acquisition.
Payroll Manager Responsibilities: Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
Understanding of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, commissions, bonuses, garnishments, taxes and other deductions.
Ensures compliance with federal, state (including multi-state payroll) and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices.
Act as liaison with Paychex for payroll management and troubleshooting.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Recommend policy and procedure changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Performs other payroll or accounting duties as needed to support the team. Payroll Manager Qualifications: 4+ years of payroll experience. Experience with other accounting functions is a plus.
Must have multi-state payroll experience.
Must have experience working with Paychex.
Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, or equivalent experience. Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems. NetSuite experience is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll regulations.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and expertise in managing confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent relationship-building skills.
