Job Title: Payroll Customer Support Specialist Duration: 3 Months Location: Duluth GA 30071 Shift:1 st shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Position Summary: The Payroll Customer Support Specialist is the frontline support role for the Payroll Department. This role is responsible for timely resolution of payroll requests and prompt assigning and distributing of payroll related concerns and requests. Responsibilities: Provides exceptional customer service support and resolutions timely. Responsible for managing all incoming calls emails and requests to the payroll department. Responsible for managing the distribution of all ServiceNow requests to the payroll team. Responsible for Tier 1 support of Payroll requests (basic payroll information requests and research) Responsible for timely completion of VOE and other employee requests for information into the department. Assesses the nature of incoming calls identifies and completes appropriate action in a prompt manner. Responsible for ensuring departmental supplies are maintained and stocked as required for processing. Responsible for payroll distribution including sealing sorting packaging and preparation for various distribution options. Participates in all educational activities and demonstrates personal responsibility for job performance. Maintains compliance with established corporate and departmental policies and procedures quality improvement program customer service and productivity expectations. Responsible for incoming mail distribution Responsible for scanning and storing payroll related items as needed. Experience: Associate degree or equivalent preferred 13 years experience in payroll processing and/or customer service Experience supporting timekeeping and payroll processes and systems preferred. Knowledge of standard payroll processes and practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all employee levels across multiple business units and functional areas. Excellent phone etiquette and internal/external customer service skills required. Demonstrate good judgment critical thinking problem solving and decisionmaking skills. Time management skills organize and prioritize workload. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook Must be selfmotivated and able to work in a teamoriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction.
