Position: Payroll Administrator Location: Knoxville, TN
Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role involves managing payroll data, resolving payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities: Process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly or monthly basis Verify and maintain employee data including timesheets, absences, and overtime Calculate and process deductions for taxes, benefits, and garnishments Resolve any payroll discrepancies and ensure accuracy of all payroll transactions Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and various departments Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues Stay up-to-date on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Disability Insurance Pet Insurance Identitiy Theft Protection Mental Health Benefits 401(k) with company match If you are a proactive and organized individual with a passion for payroll administration, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
