The Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to meet production and retention goals.
Patient Coordinator Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient schedules for treatment and retention in assigned markets in conjunction with market goals. Preparation of patient charts prior to treatment including but not limited to medical clearances, consent forms, and insurance verification (if applicable). Ensure all patient and demographic information is kept updated. Identify low production days in markets; work with the team to identify patients nearby and add treatment or recall as needed. Communicate scheduled appointment dates to patients and/or patient advocates via phone or text. Coordinate provider availability to ensure patient appointments and expectations are met. Schedule appointments to ensure continuity with the same provider. Accommodate patients and clients with their upcoming appointments. Listen to patient and client needs in determining the best scheduling techniques. Ensure patients and patient advocates are informed of the appointment expectations. Communicate frequently with the market team relating to current and future team schedules. Ability to interpret treatment and allow for an appropriate amount of time in the schedule for treatment completion. Manage notifications to market teams for late-minute schedule changes. Ensure schedule cancellations are re-appointed timely. Participate in weekly meetings to review current and future challenges with patient support. Other duties as assigned. Patient Coordinator Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two to five years of dental front desk experience. Two to five years of patient scheduling experience. Knowledge of dental terminology. Practice Management software experience (Care stack). Patient Coordinator Job-Type & Schedule:
Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Patient Coordinator Compensation & Benefits Package:
