Position Summary/Description: The primary purpose of this position is to take on the duties of the Patient Care Coordinators ( PCC ) for the Graduate, Predoctoral, and Emergency Endodontics clinics. This role will perform the PCC role at hundred percent depending on the needs of the clinics.
The PCC is a key player in the day-to-day operations of the UNC Endodontics Clinics, supporting the Graduate and Predoctoral program directors and programs. This position is directly responsible for numerous patient, resident, dental students, and faculty interactions on a daily basis that help ensure clinical and fiscal success. As a first point of contact for patient concerns, resident and dental student's logistical matters, and interdepartmental questions, this position represents our clinic with outstanding professionalism and service. This position will guide, organize, and monitor activities of the UNC Endodontics Clinics, as well as collaborate with the other PCCs in the Division to effect quality patient care. This is done through accurate documentation, ongoing education, and coordination of the team's operations. Education and Experience: Licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the State of North Carolina.
