Glendive Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Patient Access Representative. While this position is M-F for the most part, it does require rotating weekends. This position will learn all areas of registration including: Clinic, Outpatient, and E.R. This position is responsible for all facets of patient registration, including but not limited to appointment scheduling, patient interviews to capture accurate demographic information for entry into the electronic medical record, verification of third party payer information, as well as point of service collection.
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of one (1) year previous office experience required; previous medical/reception office experience preferred
* Demonstrated customer service skills
* Demonstrated competence in written, oral and electronic communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and multi-task
