Party Chief

Position Overview: The Party Chief is responsible for the field crew assigned to surveying and mapping projects. This includes providing guidance and daily direction to ensure successful completion of the project within the specified timeline and budget. Additionally, the Party Chief will maintain records, develop survey plans, and provide technical support for survey data.
Key Responsibilities: Assign and manage personnel to complete field surveying and mapping projects. Read and interpret survey plans and documents. Provide technical support for survey data. Monitor budget and project timeline. Operate and maintain surveying equipment and related devices. Conduct research, analyze data, and develop survey plans. Provide guidance on safety, geographic, and environmental processes. Compile and analyze survey data and maintain accurate records. Perform quality assurance testing of survey data. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Party Chief or related position. Expertise in surveying and mapping projects. Proficiency in ArcGIS and other relevant software. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. Attention to detail and accuracy.
