See everything through the customer's eyes and deliver an exceptional experience that is; fun, fast and truly different.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Support a culture of excellence serving customer and team member experiences.Execute, innovate, and implement processes that consistently deliver our mission.Selling parts and accessories to support vehicle maintenance, repair, wholesale, and DIY customersProcuring inventory, recording receipt, sale, stocking, shipping, posting to specific standardsExecute problem resolution skills to realize excellence in all facets of the business.Report progress, challenges, options, and solutions to assure outstanding results.POSITION SUMMARY:The Parts Salesperson is responsible to fill parts and accessory requests promptly to support vehicle maintenance, repair, and sales demands delivering operational excellence and departmental budget objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Nurture a culture of extraordinary customer and associate experiences.Execute consistent processes to assure positive customer and associate experiences.Execute inventory protocols for demand, lost sales, and fill rates within industry benchmarks.Receipt and stock inventoryReconcile inventory receipts and invoices.Record, track, receive and report special order and back ordered items.Directly interact with customers, technicians, and salespeople.Maintain accurate paperwork, posting, invoicing, shipping/receiving, core administration, and P.O's.Maintain a safe, clutter-free, organized, and clean workstation (daily).Report progress, challenges, options, and solutions to assure outstanding results.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Successful experience in the following capacities:Retail Parts SalesRetail and/or Wholesale sales.Efficient use of software and technologyPrior recognitions of achievement and performance.COMPETENCIES, PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Intellectual curiosity, emotional maturity, innovative, and competitive passion for results.Problem resolution skills and thoughtful decision making toward customer service.Respectful communication, process management, and attention to detail.Teamwork.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Extensive walking, climbing of stairs, data-entry, occasional lifting (Fast pace, multi-taskingExtensive personal interactions with customers, technicians, salespeople and associates.POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:Hours may vary daily to meet business demands.Typical schedules run 8 to 10 hours five or six days a week.COMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND REWARDS:Compensation is targeted at 10% to 12% of Parts Department gross profit.This position offers a weekly draw against future earned commission and bonus.Benefits are outlined in the handbook.Outside (manufacturer) rewards and bonuses may be offered from time to time.Compensation is detailed in a separate document.TRAVEL* Must be able to travel as required.
