Job Summary The Parts Cleaner removes and cleans metal and fabricated parts for processing and recycling utilizing cleaning solutions, equipment, and machinery.
Job Responsibilities Cleans excess oil from soiled parts and scrape metal by means of centrifuges. Cleans and dries soiled parts and scrap metal utilizing Durr Echo Cleaning System. Counts parts for quantity control. Cleans floors, tables, drip pans, and machinery. Monitors and mixes cleaning solution tanks for consistency. Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 to 3 months of experience or training.
Physical: Must be able to lift 0-35lbs. frequently. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach and reach overhead.
Shift: Second (M-F 2:30-11:00pm)
