Part-time Storage Office Assistant Location Albuquerque, NM (Candlemen area) : Part Time Storage Office Assistant Seeking energetic, outgoing, self-starter with customer service experience 9am-5pm 2 days a week . Opportunities occasionally for additional days and/or trading days with on-site manager. Flexible schedule is a plus.
Responsible for renting and vacating indoor storage units and outside vehicle spaces, accepting payments, professionally and patiently assisting customers as needed, regular cleaning and light maintenance of the property and ensuring the safety and security of the customers and their possessions.
Responsibilities: Opening and closing the office on time, processing payments, balancing petty cash, rent checks and currency, processing bank deposits, answering phone and in person inquiries. Assisting with collections of delinquent accounts.
Shows, rents, vacates and cleans self-storage units as vacated, including sweeping, changing light bulbs and removing debris.
Cleans office, restrooms, hallways and entryways daily as needed, and performs daily lock checks and regular visual inspections to maintain a neat, clean, safe and secure facility. Minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs.
Frequently watches/reviews cameras on video surveillance system to monitor activity on the property.
Handles occasional storage auction activity.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualification: Ability to work independently and alone for 8 hours a day
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Drug test and criminal background required
High School Diploma is required
Physical Demands: Able to walk frequently to access all areas of a good-sized storage complex, including outdoor storage lot, and handle exposure to New Mexico weather year-round.
Able to climb a ladder to change light bulbs, clean bathroom, door and window glass and vacuum long hallways.
Able to manually open and close a chain-link gate for customer access to the outdoor lot.
Pay: $13.50/hr
Schedule: 9am-5pm
2 days a week (flexibility in days required based on applicant schedule)
