Location: Louisville, KY Category: Adjunct Positions Posted On: Mon May 6 2024 Job Description: The Department of Psychology at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY is seeking a part-time instructor(s) to teach Introductory Psychology in the fall semester (8/15/2024 - 12/20/2024). This course is being offered in person and on campus. Preferred applicants will have teaching experience in psychology. In addition to the course, the instructor is expected to be available to students as needed, including a minimum of one office hour held weekly on campus or remotely.
At Bellarmine, Introductory Psychology is a survey of psychology including the history and methods of psychological science, learning and motivation, cognition and memory, biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, personality and social psychology, psychological disorders and their treatment. The course emphasizes the relation between life experiences and the scientific findings that explain those experiences.
